Cookies

We do not set any cookies. There is no consent banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to. No advertising, no analytics, no tracking of any kind.
We do store a few things in your browser, which is not the same as a cookie: it stays on your machine and is never sent to us automatically the way a cookie would be. Here is all of it.
What we keep in your browser
| What | Where | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your sign-in session | Local storage | So you stay signed in between visits. Clearing it signs you out. |
| Your progress | Local storage | So the site works offline. It is also saved to your account, so clearing it loses nothing. |
| Lessons you have opened | Local storage | So reading a day again does not need the network. |
| Your last playground query | Local storage | So a refresh does not throw away what you were writing. |
| The practice database | IndexedDB | The PostgreSQL database the exercises run against. It never leaves your browser. |
| Where you were headed, and your local price | Session storage | So signing in returns you to the right page, and the price does not have to be looked up twice. Both are gone when you close the tab. |
Razorpay
If you open the payment window, Razorpay's checkout runs there and sets its own cookies to process the payment and to prevent fraud. That is Razorpay's, not ours, and theirprivacy policy covers it. It only happens if you actually start a subscription. Reading the course never involves them.
Clearing it
Clear site data for academy.levich.co in your browser settings and all of the above goes. You will be signed out and the practice database will rebuild itself the next time you open a lesson, which takes about ten seconds. Your progress is safe, because it is on your account as well.
