Terms and conditions
Last updated 26 August 2026
These terms apply to academy.levich.co, which is run by Levich. By using the site you accept them. They are short because the course is free and there is nothing to buy, cancel or renew.
The course is free
Levich Academy costs nothing. There is no paid tier, no trial that becomes a subscription and no card details to give us. If that ever changes, anything you have already completed will remain free to you.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or over to hold an account. Indian data protection law treats anyone under 18 as a child and requires verifiable parental consent before their data may be processed, and we are not set up to obtain it.
Reading is open to everyone. The curriculum, the lessons listed on each course page and this site generally can be read without an account, so being under 18 does not stop you learning from it. It stops you saving progress.
Your account
You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping that account secure, since anyone who can use it can see your progress. Please do not share an account with somebody else, because the progress record will stop meaning anything.
We may suspend or remove an account that is being used to attack the site or to interfere with other people. We would rather explain than act silently, so we will tell you why if we do.
Using the site sensibly
Please do not:
- attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or to the database behind it;
- use automated tools to scrape the lessons or to submit answers on your behalf;
- republish the lessons or exercises as your own, whether free or for payment.
Writing SQL in the practice editor is the entire point of the site, so nothing you do there counts as misuse. The database runs in your own browser and you cannot damage anything of ours with it.
The lessons
The lessons, exercises and solutions belong to Levich. You may use them to learn, including for your job, and you may quote a small part with attribution. You may not redistribute the course or sell it. If you would like to use the material for teaching, write to us and we will very likely say yes.
Availability
We try to keep the site running, but it is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will always be available, that it will be free of faults, or that it will suit any particular purpose. Your progress is stored on our server as well as in your browser, which is a good deal safer than one copy, but it is not a backup service and you should not rely on it as one.
Preparing for interviews
The course is built to make you good at SQL, and being good at SQL helps in interviews. We cannot promise a job, a qualification or a particular result, and we do not issue certificates.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Levich is not liable for any loss arising from your use of this free site, including lost progress or lost time. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not permit it to be limited.
Ending it
You may stop using the site whenever you like, and you may ask us to delete your account by writing to contact@levich.co. We may withdraw the site or a course, in which case we will give reasonable notice where we can.
Changes to these terms
If we change them, we will update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the change.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
